Refund and Returns Policy
At Darshnam, we aim to offer smooth and reliable travel services. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and changes are handled for all bookings made with us.
1. Terms

All bookings are confirmed only after full or partial advance payment.

Refunds are processed as per the cancellation rules mentioned below.

No refunds will be given for unused services such as missed pickups, early checkouts, or no-shows.
2. Cancellation by Traveller
A. Tour Packages (Hotel + Transport + Services)

15 days or more before travel: 80% refund

7 to 14 days before travel: 50% refund

Less than 7 days before travel: No refund
B. Transport / Cab Bookings

48 hours before pickup: Full refund
-
24 to 48 hours before pickup: 50% refund

Less than 24 hours: No refund
C. Hotel Bookings Through Darshnam
Hotel cancellations depend on the hotel’s own policy. Refunds will be processed after we receive confirmation from the partner hotel.
3. Cancellation by Darshnam
If a tour or service is cancelled by us due to operational issues, weather conditions, or safety reasons, customers will receive:

A full refund, or
-
An option to reschedule the booking without extra charges.
4. Modifications to Booking

Date or itinerary changes are subject to availability.

Any price difference caused by the change must be paid by the traveller.

In case the service provider charges modification fees, the customer must bear that amount.
5. Refund Process

All eligible refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days.

Refunds are issued to the original mode of payment.

Darshnam is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways or third-party vendors.
6. No Show Policy
If the traveller fails to arrive on the scheduled date/time for any part of the booking, the booking will be considered a no show. No refund is applicable.
7. Force Majeure
No refunds will be processed for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or sudden government restrictions.
